Resurrected

So I'm writing a blog entry after a really long time. So readers (if there are any) pardon my desi-mixed-with-poor-american-sitcom-influenced English.

Some of you may be wondering why this entry is called "Resurrected". Well, it's just how I feel right now. I'll tell you a little bit about myself before I start ranting. I'm a second semester (Won't be a fresher for much long :D ) student at NSIT, Delhi. My major is Biotechnology (I can imagine how your expression has changed :P ) and I like it (Change expression to skeptical).

Now, talking about being resurrected. I had started leading a very indolent lifestyle, one which made me think that doing anything (Apart from sleeping, eating and the occasional staring matches with my textbooks) will disturb the delicate equilibrium of my perfectly balanced world. In a word, I'd become lazy. Don't get me wrong, these were mixed with bouts of over enthusiasm about studying for the mid semester exams or some oh-so-awesome quiz, but these instances were numbered.

How did I get out of the rut, you ask? Simple. A three lettered word -MUM. I don't give my mother enough credit, her tried and tested techniques of getting me off the couch and back on my feet worked. These age old practices have passed down from generations and yes, they show results. So I had to sit through some dinners in awkward silence, endure a few hours of lecturing and have my ass handed to me infront of a few relatives. But these things work!!

So yes, I have been resurrected and will keep posting more blog entries to annoy my readers (read "reader").

Also, as the link to this blog suggests, I will try to bring forth the things that bother me about the system and hope against hope that something positive will come out of it. And, this isn't a bitchy blog, so I'm not gonna complain about "that girl who wears too much make-up" or the "guy who smells".
I'll try to keep it as relevant as possible.

So let the Cape in you Shine!
